The present study was conducted to evaluate the effect of emotion-based parent-child interaction therapy on improving executive functions. The present study was quasi-experimental research with pre-test and post-test design with control group. The statistical population of the study included all boys with depression disorder at the age range of 4 to 5.5 years in Isfahan. Thirty children and parents were selected by purposeful sampling method and were randomly assigned to two equal groups. Preschool Children Emotion Checklist (Lobby et al., 2004) and the Parents' Reaction to Child's Negative Emotions Scale (Mirabel, 2015) were used to collect data. The mentioned therapy was implemented in 14 sessions of 1 hour per week for the subjects in the experimental group, but the control group did not receive any treatment. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and analysis of covariance. The results of analysis of covariance showed that emotion-oriented parent-child interactive therapy had a significant effect on improving executive functions with a coefficient of 0.81, also this treatment on the components of executive functions including change, inhibition, planning, emotional control And working memory has been effective. Therefore, parent-child interactive therapy focused emotional on parent's reactions can be used as a therapeutic strategy for parents to improve executive functions.

In this regard, 30 students were selected by cluster and random sampling and were randomly assignment to experimental and control groups. Theory of mind scale as a test of 38 questions was used to obtain the data. The experimental group was trained in communication skills during seven sessions of treatment. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (covariance). Results: The results showed that there was a significant difference in terms of theory of mind (p

The current study aimed to understand the effect of bilingual social context on children's episodic memory. In bilingual group Total 27 children participated at 24, 30 and 36 months of age. In this approach the convenience sampling method adopted, and monolingual group matched with them. The memory skills based upon elicited Imitation with action memory test, assessed in base line, immediate and delayed performance. The data synthesized using by variance analysis and tukey test. The data analysis revealed no significant differences between bilinguals and monolinguals. But in a broader extent the different genders show significant differences (i. e. girls gained higher scores). The base line, immediate and delayed performance resulted to significant difference. The immediate and delayed performance assessed to be better than base line performance. In this study children’s language skills were associated with performance immediately after modeling for both the actions and pairs measures of memory in the elicited imitation task. Accordingly, the current findings suggest that at least by 2 years of age, the language available to children is an important determinant of what gets into memory.
