This study was conducted to compare the effectiveness of compassion-focused therapy (CFT) and emotion-focused therapy (EFT) on emotional self-awareness and distress tolerance in women experiencing emotional divorce. The research method was a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test, post-test, and control group. The total statistical population consisted of 67 women experiencing emotional divorce who referred to the Rahnama Counseling Center in Tonekabon city for marital conflict resolution. Based on the scores from the Gottman Emotional Divorce Questionnaire, 45 individuals were purposefully selected and randomly assigned to two experimental groups and one control group (15 participants in the group). Participants were assessed using the Emotional Self-Awareness Questionnaire by Rieffe et al. and the Distress Tolerance Scale by Simons and Gaher. The first experimental group received eight 90-minute sessions of compassion-focused therapy and the second experimental group received nine 90-minute sessions of emotion-focused therapy, while control group did not receive any intervention. The questionnaires were administered again to all three groups after the intervention. Data were analyzed using analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). The results showed that both compassion-focused therapy and emotion-focused therapy had a significant effect on increasing emotional self-awareness and distress tolerance. However, compassion-focused therapy had a greater impact on distress tolerance, while emotion-focused therapy was more effective in enhancing emotional self-awareness. Overall, both therapies are suitable methods for improving emotional self-awareness and distress tolerance in women experiencing emotional divorce.

The current research was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of teaching entrepreneurship concepts on creative thinking and metacognition of primary school children. This research was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. Using Welch and McDowall's (2002) creative thinking questionnaires and Baku et al.'s (2009) children's metacognition assessment, 30 third grade students enrolled in the 4th district of Tehran in the academic year of 2014-2015. They were randomly selected and replaced voluntarily in two experimental and control groups (15 people in each group). The experimental group received 10 sessions (3 sessions per week) of the entrepreneurship concept training program as a group, and the control group did not receive any trial in this field. After the implementation of the intervention, the creative thinking and metacognition of the children of both groups were measured again. Multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) was used to analyze the data. F calculated for the main hypothesis and sub-hypotheses in relation to the studied variables showed a significant difference in both groups. This research, in convergence with the results of similar researches, expresses the fact that the teaching of entrepreneurship concepts has an effective role on the creative thinking and metacognition of students' children. Keywords: concepts of entrepreneurship, creative thinking, children's metacognition

Objective: The aim of this research was to evaluate the effectiveness of compassion focused therapy on cognitive flexibility and social sufficiency of women with marital conflicts. This research method was semi-experimental with pretest-posttest design. Using felner and etal's social sufficiency, Denis and Vendervall’s cognitive flexibility and Sanai and Barati's marital conflicts, questionnaires, 30 women of with marital conflicts. Were purposive selected and were randomly assigned in two experimental and control group (each group was 15). The experiment group received 8 sessions of CFT based on Gillbert's instruction package and the control group did not receive any training in this field. After executing the CFT, social sufficiency, cognitive flexibility and marital conflicts of the members of two groups were measured again. Data were analyzed using multivariate covariance analysis (MANCOVA) and univariate covariance analysis (ANCOVA). Calculated F either in the Mancova analysis and either in the Ancova analysis for variables of social sufficiency, cognitive flexibility, showed significant differences in both groups. The results of this study which are in line with other studies that CFT has significant role in increasing social sufficiency and cognitive flexibility in the women with marital conflicts.

Introduction: The Purpose of this research was to study the relationship between predicting of psychological well-being through defense mechanisms and cognitive self-differentiation in students. Method: The research method was correlation and participants of this research were 125 people of students selected via simple randomization. The research materials were :Skowron and Friddlander Self-differentiation Questionnair, Andrews , Sing and Bond Defense Styles Questionnaire and Ryff Psychological Well-being Questionnaire.. Results: Multiple regression analysis with stepwise method and Pearson correlation showed that cognitive self-differentiation %8/23 , mature defense mechanism %5/53 , immature defense mechanism %4/30 , neurotic defense mechanism %4/12 and the generally explained %22/18 of common variance (R²) of psychological well-being of students. Conclusion: The findings of this research indicated that cognitive self-differentiation, mature defense mechanism, immature defense mechanism and neurotic defense mechanism have basic role in psychological well-being of students.

Aim: This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapies (MBCT) on loneliness feeling and shyness of students. Method: The research method was quasi experimental with pretest-posttest design and control group. Data was collected using Rasell et al Loneliness Questionnaire and Stanford Shyness Questionnaire. A total number of 30 female students with high loneliness feeling and shyness were randomly selected and assigned to experimental and control group (15 students in each group). The experimental group received 8 sessions of MBCT based on Segal and et al's (2002) instruction package; however, the control group did not receive any intervention. After the MBCT execution, loneliness feeling and shyness of the control and experimental group students were measured again. Data were analyzed using Multivariate Covariance Analysis (MANCOVA). Results: Calculated F for original hypotheses (18/11) and all the separate variables showed significant differences in both groups (P

Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between self-focused cognitive bias and responsibility with social adjustment in women with marital conflicts. Method: The research method was correlation and the sample consisted of 95 women with marital conflicts that were selected via simple randomization. The investigation instruments were: Woody, Chambles, and Goldes's self-focus cognitive bias, Kordloo's responsibility and Bell's social adjustment questionnaires. Results: Multiple Regression Analyses with stepwise method and Pearson correlation showed that 24.6 percent of common variance (R2) of the social adjustment of women with marital conflicts was explained by self-focused cognitive bias, and 10.8 percent was explained by responsibility, making a total of 35.40 percent. Conclusion: The results of this study were consistent with those of other investigations. They indicated that self-focused cognitive bias and responsibility have basic role in the amount of social adjustment of women with marital conflicts.

Introduction: The aim of this research was to study the effectiveness of group critical thinking training on social self-efficacy and resilience of narcotics anonymous (Na). Method: The research was semi experimental with pretest – post test design. Using Gaudino & Herbert social self-efficacy questionnaire and Conner & Davidson resilience questionnaire, 30 narcotics anonymous (Na) with low social self-efficacy and resilience were randomly selected and were voluntarily assigned to experimental and control groups (15 persons in each group). The experimental group received 10 sessions of critical thinking skills (a session weekly) and the control group did not receive any training. After the training, social self-efficacy and resilience of the experimental group were measured again. Findings: Analysis of one way covariance method (ANCOVA) showed significant differences in both social self-efficacy (37.96) and resilience (32.69) with P
