The main aim of the present study was to investigate the factors that could affect people’s perception. Method: To do so, 64 students of Payame Noor University were selected using random sampling method. After answering the Personality and Critical Thinking Questionnaires, the subjects watched a film which included a fixed dialogue performed in 4 different situations for 5 minutes. Then, based on the film, they responded to a questionnaire. Results: The findings showed that there is no significant relationship between personality traits and critical thinking. However, there were significant relationships between some personality traits and situation elements. In addition, three cognitive abilities including inductive thinking, evaluation and deduction were associated with the location shown in the film. Finally, the results indicated the significant correlation between thinking with location and people’s perception. Conclusion: This research showed that thinking is essential for perception. In addition, through transferring its elements as information units as well as interfering in the type of employed cognitive ability, situational context affects people's type of conception مقدمه: ادراک افراد از جهانی که در آن به سر می‌برند یکی از توانایی‌های انسان است که بر زندگی بشر اعم از تصمیم‌گیری یا عمل متناسب با موقعیت فرد تأثیر دارد. هدف اصلی پژوهش حاضر بررسی عواملی است که می‌توانند در ادراک افراد نقش داشته باشند. روش: به این منظور تعداد 64 نفر از دانشجویان دانشگاه پیام نور مرکز تهران جنوب که در سال تحصیلی 94 ـ 93 مشغول به تحصیل بودند به‌طور تصادفی انتخاب شدند. آن‌ها بعد از پاسخ به پرسشنامه شخصیت پنج عاملی نئو و تفکر انتقادی کالیفرنیا، فیلمی را به مدت 5 دقیقه تماشا کردند که شامل یک دیالوگ ثابت می‌شد که در 4 بافت مختلف اجرا شده بود. سپس بر اساس آن به پرسشنامه‌ای در خصوص فیلم پاسخ دادند. یافته‌ها: یافته‌های پژوهش حاضر نشان داد که میان خصیصه‌های شخصیتی و تفکر انتقادی رابطه معناداری وجود ندارد. با این وجود سه توانایی شناختی تفکر استقرایی، ارزیابی و استنتاج با مکان نمایش داده شده در فیلم همبستگی داشت. درنهایت نتایج نشان دهنده همبستگی بین تفکر با مکان و ادراک افراد بود. نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج به دست آمده نشان داد که تفکر برای ادراک امری ضروری تلقی می‌شود. بافت موقعیت نیز با انتقال عناصر خود به‌عنوان واحدهای اطلاعاتی برای ادراک و با دخالت در نوع توانایی شناختی به کار گرفته شده بر نوع ادراک افراد تأثیر دارد. https://sc.journals.pnu.ac.ir/article_2239_8b8c972b0d8b8b357f8b6175cb7a59eb.pdf
