The purpose of the present study was to examine the effective of emotion regulation strategies training on moral judgments with regard to the capacity of working memory. Thus, hundred and fifty eight university students (45 males and 113 female) from Kharazmi University were participated in this study. All participants were tested using working memory index and based on their scores distributions, two groups with high and low working memory abilities were selected for the training sessions. Each group, 14 participants (9 females and 5 males), have been trained through the emotion regulation strategies for ten sessions. Moral judgments in five different categories (personal, easy personal, difficult personal, impersonal and control dilemmas) have been examined in three different stages Data were subjected mixed analysis of variance. The results showed that there were no significant differences in utilitarian responses and reaction times to moral judgment dilemmas between two groups with low and high working memory scores. Also, the findings indicated that emotion regulation strategy training resulted in an increase of utilitarian moral choices for all of the moral dilemmas relative to control dilemmas. However, emotion regulation strategy training had an effect on the reaction time in response to the as well as difficult personal moral dilemmas. According to these findings, it seems emotion regulation strategy training had an effect in utilitarian responses and the reaction time, especially for personal moral dilemmas. This could be considered as an indicator of how emotion regulatory strategy training can influence the emotional response during moral judgments.

Aim: The present study examined the effect of emotion inducing on motor and Physiological signs of computer users so that by using these signs computers can estimate the users’ emotions and have a better interaction with them. Although the method of this study was not pure emotional calculations, it presents an approximating algorithm for classifying human emotion based on motor and Physiological signs. Method: A total number of 9 participants with adequate computer skills underwent 6 emotions (2 moods, and 3 arousals in each mood). Besides, there was a pretest at the beginning (a total of 7 emotional states). To induce emotion, Robinson’s two steps method was used. Then the participants were aroused by films. After each emotion inducing, a computer game was played the motor (12 items) and physiological signs (Skin temperature and humidity and clicking force) were measured. Results: The results showed that at 0.05 significance level, the groups had significant differences in mouse speed, mouse acceleration, palm humidity, and click force. Conclusion: Computer users’ emotion can be assessed by 4 signs of speed, acceleration, humidity, and click force.

Aim: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of teaching self-regulated learning strategies on students’ social problem solving. Method: The sample size consisted of 50 high school students, divided into 25 students in the experimental and 25 in the control group using a random cluster multiple-stage sampling type. The measurement tool consisted of Social problem solving inventory D’Zurilla, Nezu, and Maydeu-Olivares (2002) that was executed as a pre-test in both groups. Then, only the experimental group underwent a training program of self-regulated learning strategies for 15 sessions. After the training, a post-test using the aforementioned scale was taken from both groups. Data was analyzed by calculating the analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and T-test. Results: The results indicated that teaching self-regulation learning strategies had a significant and stable effect on students’ social problem solving ability. Conclusions: Teaching self-regulated learning strategy enables students decide better on social and academic issues. It also helps them to be more accurate in learning process and thinking, and to believe that they have the ability to solve problems.
